From Prada to Nada is yet another bastardization of a classic novel, this time Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility. With a latin ‘spin.’ I just barfed unoriginality. It tasted like Caribou Coffee.
Two spoiled little bitches are forced to move in with their estranged aunt, who lives modestly but with a lot of love. The two sisters start out so engrained in their 90210 lifestyle that one won’t even admit to her Mexican ancestry. So she’s a major racist. I can’t wait to see her transformation. Oh wait. People don’t really change and she’ll still be a piece of shit at the end.

A whimsical spin on Austen’s original, From Prada to Nada follows two spoiled sisters when they are left penniless after the sudden death of their father. Forced to move in with their estranged aunt in East Los Angeles, this is a fish-out-of-water story where the girls ultimately find romance, as well as a love for their culture.
